We are wired for connection, and at Home Church we believe connecting with God and others is essential to who we are as human beings in general and followers of Jesus in particular. We have a variety of groups and classes to help facilitate connection. New groups start every fall, spring, and summer, and last 8-12 weeks. You can sign up below or email us below for more information.
Carole Carter, Stacey Tannehill & Betsy Hall
Wednesday, September 26-Wednesday, November 28 (No meeting on Halloween or the week of Thanksgiving.) 6-8pm in East Nashville.
Journey to Freedom offers a safe and encouraging place for us to step out of just thinking about change into stepping into real action! With honest dialogue directed towards laying a foundation for change in our lives, we'll discuss topics like:
Silence negative thoughts and begin to live in new possibilities
Find motivation through a new vision and passion, versus need and fear
Redefine hope in areas of your life where you have become hopeless
Bar + Bible
Wednesday, September 26-November, 28 (No meeting on Halloween or the week of Thanksgiving). 7pm in rotating locations.
This group seeks to engage in furthering community among its members through the sharing of drinks, food, discussion and contemplation. Each meet up will take place in a different neighborhood bar throughout the 615. Each week the theme, or topic of theological discussion will change. Drinking alcohol is of course never required, the fellowship is most important thing so bring your soda, water or even a Lacroix! Come thirsty both physically and spiritually.

Our group will be a discussion-based small group centered around Rob Bell’s What Is The Bible (and other related texts).
We will also share a meal at every meeting.
One word to describe our hope for our group would be wonder. Not only do we want to be a safe place for people to have questions about God, but we hope that by exploring those questions we will grow in our wonder of God, his creation, and his people.
