Our kids team knows how to have a good time! From rocking babies in our nursery to helping with arts and crafts to teaching lessons, we have opportunities for all kinds of gifting and personalities. If you are willing, we have a place for you. Volunteers typically serve once a month, and we would love for you to be a part of our team!
The hospitality team offers a friendly face to welcome the congregation and greet newcomers to our services. Communion servers and greeters serve on a quarterly rotation and are provided with instruction sheets as to their responsibilities prior to serving.
Sip some coffee, hold open the door, and say hello. Greeters also talk with newcomers after church at the welcome table.
Home Church is known for having some of the best coffee in the city. Training is available for the specific way we make and serve our hot beverages.
If you’ve taken communion at Home Church you’ve been served by our hospitality team. Offering the body and blood of our Lord Jesus is about as sacred as team tasks get around here.
The worship team's purpose is to help people encounter the presence of God through music, creativity, and excellent musicianship. Together we seek to experience God, equip worshippers, and empower the church to worship God in spirit and truth.
We're always looking for new people to join the band. If you are a gifted musician, a singer, or have skills in production and media, we would love to hear from you!
Production volunteers help run the audiovisuals at our Sunday services and at our big events throughout the year. Training can be provided for Sound Engineering, Stage Crew, Service Coordinator and Projection Team.
The visual display of the projector is integral for our Sunday Service. If you are good with the basics of computers then this is an easy entry point onto the production team.
We are always looking for skilled audio technicians who have experience running live sound. Training is available for this position, but if you’ve never had experience with live sound the learning curve is quite steep.
We all need schedules (some of us more than others). If sticking to a schedule, and staying orderly is your thing you might enjoy coordinating Sunday Services, and other Home Church events.
